Wednesday's Game: GW (5-12, 1-6) hosts La Salle (8-12, 3-4) Wednesday night in the first and only meeting this season and the 24th meeting in the series. GW has won seven straight in the series and 16 of the last 19 meetings.

A Closer Look at La Salle: The Explorers, under fourth-year coach John Giannini, come to Smith Center Wednesday with an 8-12 record, 3-4 A-10. La Salle has three players averaging double figures led by Darnell Harris' 15.8 ppg and Jerrell Williams' 7.5 rebounds. Harris is one of the best long-range shooters in the NCAA and leads the A-10 in 3-pt FG%. Rodney Green averages 13.1 points with 71 assists. In Saturday's game at Xavier, the Explorers shot 42.6 percent overall, hit 5-17 three-pointers and out-rebounded the Musketeers, 34-32, but committed 16 turnovers. For the season, La Salle is shooting 43.7 percent from the field, averages 73.7 points a game and is outrebounding opponents by nearly six caroms a game.
