
Women's Tennis Defeated at Old Dominion

NORFOLK, VA - The George Washington University women's tennis team opened their 2008 spring schedule by falling at Old Dominion, 6-1, Saturday afternoon in Norfolk, VA. The loss dropped GW's record to 4-2 on the 2007-08 season.
ODU began by taking the doubles point, winning all three of the doubles matches. In the singles competition, the Monarchs claimed five of the six matches. The lone GW victory came from freshman Nadia Demidenko, who won 6-1, 6-3.
George Washington continues their 2008 schedule Saturday, Feb. 9, when they host Atlantic 10 Conference opponent Richmond in Montclair, VA.
