MONTCLAIR, VA - The George Washington University women's tennis team fell to Charlotte, 7-0, Tuesday afternoon in its Atlantic 10 Conference season opener at Montclair Country Club.

The visiting 49ers swept the doubles point and won all six singles matches in straight sets to earn the victory.

GW (2-4) returns to the courts when it travels to Fort Myers, FL, on Wednesday, March 15 to take on Florida Gulf Coast during spring break at 2 p.m.
