Colonials Drop One To Dayton, 74-66

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Keith Waleskowski and Ramod Marshall scored 16 points each and Waleskowski grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds to lead Dayton to a 74-66 victory over George Washington on Wednesday night.
Dayton (15-3, 5-0 Atlantic 10) led George Washington (9-7, 3-2) at the half by only four points at 37-33, but the Flyers managed to push their lead to as many as 12 points with 6:07 remaining. George Washington cut Dayton's lead to five points at the 1:10 mark with help from a 3-pointer by Carl Elliott but was never able to get any closer.
In the first half, George Washington tied the game at 22 with 8:22 remaining on a jumper by Ricky Lucas. Marques Bennett followed with a 3-pointer and Dayton stayed ahead the rest of the way.
Sean Finn added 12 points for Dayton.
Elliott and Omar Williams led scoring for George Washington with 12 points each.
