GW Names Cygan, D'Amico to Athletic Training Staff

WASHINGTON, DC - Joe Cygan and Jennifer D'Amico have been named assistant athletic trainers at The George Washington University, head trainer Chris Hennelly has announced. Cygan will focus on the baseball team, while D'Amico will work with the women's basketball team.
Cygan joins the Colonials staff after working with the United States Olympic Committee Division of Sports Medicine and the Murray State University training staff. He received his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Quincy University in 2000 and a master's in exercise and leisure studies from Murray State in 2002.
D'Amico comes to George Washington after spending two years as an assistant athletic trainer at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She also spent a year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Hampden Sydney College. She earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Connecticut in 2000 and a master's in sports medicine/athletic training from the University of Virginia in 2001.
