WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington University Director of Athletics Jack Kvancz announced today that the University has extended the contract of men's basketball head coach, Karl Hobbs, until June 30, 2008. Terms of the contract have not been disclosed. A former assistant coach at the University of Connecticut, Hobbs was hired at GW on May 7, 2001.
