Men's Hoops Trounces Towson, 76-57

WASHINGTON (AP) - T.J. Thompson had 15 points and George Washington never trailed in a 76-57 win over Towson on Wednesday.
Greg Collucci had 14 points, including four 3-pointers, for the Colonials (6-2) who led by 30 with nine minutes to play.
Towson (2-4) scored 16 of the next 18 points to cut the lead to 67-51, but never seriously challenged.
With George Washington leading 19-13 midway through the first half, Collucci hit three of his 3-pointers in a three-minute span. J.R. Pinnock hit a layup and Omar Williams, who had 11 points and eight rebounds, converted a 3-point play to increase the GW lead to 35-17.
Jonathan Pease had 13 and Mike Green 12 for the Tigers.
