Basketball's "Colonials Run" Set for Oct. 8

WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington University men's basketball team has announced that this year's third annual "Colonials Run" will take place Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 2:30 p.m. and begin at the east end of Memorial Bridge. The "Colonials Run" marks the end of pre-season training for coach Karl Hobbs' squad.
GW students, faculty, staff and members of the community are welcome to join the Colonials players and coaches. In addition to the exercise, it also will be an opportunity to meet the players and get autographs as well as learn their thoughts about the upcoming season.
Runners are asked to meet at Smith Center at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday where the group will walk to the Memorial Bridge to begin the run.
