Men's Cross Country 23rd, Women 21st at NCAA Regionals

LEHIGH, PA (Nov. 12) - Sophomore Darrell Andruski (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) finished 76th out of 196 runners in the men's race and sophomore Emily Jadwin (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) finished 112th out of 180 runners in the women's race to lead George Washington to a 23rd and 21st place overall finish at the 2001 NCAA Regionals on Saturday, Nov. 10, in Lehigh, PA.
Andruski finished in 32:33.91 to highlight the day for the Colonials. Junior David Talbird (Lookout Mountain, TN/McCallie School), who has been battling a sprained ankle for the past three weeks, finished 129th with a time of 33:50.79. Sophomore David Azari (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) placed 134th with a time of 33:56.29 in the 29 team race.
Jadwin paced the women's team with a time of 23:42.42. Freshman Mary Beth McCullough (Brentwood, TN/Father Ryan) placed 123rd with a time of 23:54.32 and senior Jenee Peterson (Latham, NY/Shaker) finished 128th with a time of 24:06.22 in the 26 team race.
