College Hoops Insider: Talk about the start of Conference Play
Albert Roma: The start of Conference play is very important for our team because despirte an unfortunate beginning of the season, the Conference gives us a chance to make up for it. There are many good teams this year but if we play as we have shown, in a couple of games, we have a chance to be in the [NCAA] Tournament at the end of the year.
CHI: Of the opponents you have faced to date, talk about the team(s) and player(s) who have most impressed you.
AR: One of the teams that impressed me the most was Siena, because every player understood their role on the team and they played together. Individually, [Stanford's] Mark Madsen is one of the players who has impressed me the most. His intensity and desire is to admire.
CHI: Coming out of non-conference play, do you feel, as a team, that you are where you want to be as you head into league play?
AR: As I mentioned, we had a couple of unlucky games, so we feel a little behind from where we would like to be.
