Q & A With Antxon Iturbe

Q: Discuss the season to date, pointing out highlights, from your perspective.
Iturbe: We have had a lot of ups and downs so far this season, and our record shows that. We need to become more consistent and we need to improve in road games. The highlight so far was when we beat Maryland to win the BB&T Classic at the MCI Center. Winning local rivalry games always feels special.
Q: Please talk about what you do during the holiday break.
Iturbe: I usually sleep a lot, read books, watch movies and play video games with my teammates. I also watch a lot of basketball and talk on the phone with my family.
Q: If possible, talk about one gift that you are looking forward to giving someone.
Iturbe: Once the season is over, I am planning on going home and showing up without anyone knowing. I know that is the best gift I can give my family and myself.
Q: If you could receive just one gift this holiday season, what would it be and why?
Iturbe: I think material things are overvalued in today's society. I don't really need anything, so I would be happy with any little gesture that shows that someone cares for me. I have come to learn that material things are secondary.
