Women's Novice Coach,Angela Hart

Angela Hart is in her second year with the GW Crew coaching staff. She is responsible for
coaching the women's novice crew program. In 1998, she came to GW as a volunteer
coach and worked with the GW women's varsity lightweight program. Prior to that, Hart
was an assistant coach for the Woodbridge High School crew team where her 1998 crew
won the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, the Virginia State Championships, and the Scholastic
Rowing Association National Championship.
A 1990 graduate of Virginia Tech, Hart is a U.S. Rowing Level II Certified coach, a Concept II master rowing instructor and a personal trainer/fitness instructor. She currently rows with the Occoquan Boat Club and Prince William Rowing Club. She has rowed competitively since 1982. Hart and her husband, Pat, reside in Woodbridge, VA, with their dog Watson.
