Samantha Nadel joined GW in August 2021 as the Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator and is currently responsible for overseeing the program’s recruiting efforts for both the men’s and women’s teams, managing the day-to-day operations, and implementing team workouts. Nadel came to GW from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was an assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s teams and played an extensive role in recruiting the top freshman classes in the country for both the men and women.
A graduate of Georgetown University with a BA in Psychology and the University of Oregon with a MA in Nonprofit Management, Nadel was a six-time All-American (3 at Georgetown and 3 at Oregon) and was one of two team members to score points in each of the three seasons for Oregon’s Triple Crown (the National Team Championship in cross-country, indoor,

and outdoor track). The Women of Oregon made history that year as the first women's Division I team to complete the Triple Crown in the same academic year (2016-17). Nadel is still training and competing professionally under Coach Weir and recently qualified for the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 10,000m (2023).
