Men’s Soccer Drops Villanova For Fourth Consecutive Road Win

GW men's soccer moved to 4-1-1 on the season with a 3-2 road victory at Villanova. It's the fourth-straight road win for the Revolutionaries, and the first win over a Big East side since beating Georgetown in 2007.
HOW IT HAPPENED
27TH MINUTE: GW earned an indirect free kick from just outside the Villanova six-yard box after a handball called on Villanova's goalkeeper after receiving a pass from his teammate. Jaden Dubon stood over the ball, tapping it to Joe Brayson who stung a shot far-side and through a crowd of defenders for the score
52ND MINUTE: Finn Roberts doubled the lead after receiving a layoff pass from Yago Torres, dribbling the ball into the box before firing a near perfectly-placed shot in the top corner.
60TH MINUTE: Torres received a pass from Webb Kosich near midfield and took the open space in front of him, firing a bouncing shot from distance that beat Villanova's goalkeeper to the far side.
82ND MINUTE: Villanova got on the board late on a header goal off a corner kick, scored by Brody Crampton.
90TH MINUTE: A penalty called in the box against GW with six seconds remaining led to a penalty-kick goal for Villanova, scored by Fynn Lahrsen.
