Men’s Soccer Hosts High-Powered Delaware Tuesday, Travels to St. Bonaventure for Conference Clash Saturday Night

WASHINGTON – GW men's soccer is gearing up for another two matches this week. On Tuesday, the Revolutionaries will finish its three-game homestand with a non-conference match at the GW Soccer Field against Delaware. GW then travels to St. Bonaventure, N.Y., where three points are up for grabs on Saturday night against St. Bonaventure. Saturday's match will be streamed on ESPN+.

GW welcomes a red-hot, 7-0-0 Delaware team to The Vern on Tuesday. The Blue Hens are the last remaining team in the country without a loss or draw, and they have dominated up and down the field, possessing the highest-scoring offense (3.14 goals per game) and third-rated defense (0.143 goals against per game) in the NCAA. Led offensively by Marius Stenner (seven goals, four assists) and Mikey Johnson (six goals, two assists), Delaware has outscored its first seven opponents, 22-1. GW and Delaware met last season on Oct. 15 in Newark, Del., which resulted in a 4-1 Delaware win. GW trails the all-time series vs. Delaware, 1-3-1.
