WASHINGTON - GW men's soccer earned a draw vs. Delaware on Tuesday afternoon, 1-1, handing the still-unbeaten Blue Hens its first draw of the season. The tie moved GW to 2-5-2 ahead of a trip to St. Bonaventure this weekend.
HOW IT HAPPENED
39TH MINUTE: Marius Stenner, the Ben Hens' leading scorer, was sitting in front of the net when he flicked on a hard pass, redirecting the ball to get past GW's goalkeeper for a goal
40TH MINUTE: Moments after Delaware took the lead, Louis Crofts was taken down in the box for a penalty kick, which he buried to tie the match.
