Men’s Soccer Powers Past Binghamton, 3-1

WASHINGTON - GW men's soccer picked up its first win of the season on Sunday, defeating Binghamton by a final score of 3-1. Babacar Fall opened the scoring early for the Revolutionaries, before a second-half brace from Louis Crofts sealed the victory. The Revolutionaries improved to 1-1-0, while Binghamton fell to 0-2-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
9TH MINUTE: A flicked-on header in the box landed perfectly for Fall, who ripped a running, first-touch shot past the Bearcats' keeper.
59TH MINUTE: Crofts received a well-weighted through ball from Nico Medina, and beat the charging Bearcat goalkeeper to double GW's lead.
75TH MINUTE: The Bearcats cut into the Revolutionary lead when Alex Balkey fired a lunging volley for a goal.
76TH MINUTE: Moments after Binghamton cut into the GW lead, Crofts received a pass at the top of the box from Omar Alsabagh, and Crofts left no doubt with his shot, needling the ball low and just inside the right post.
