LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - GW men's soccer was defeated at Rider by a final score of 3-0 on Monday. Rider used an early goal to play ahead for most of the match, and the Broncs stamped the win late with two goals in the final 10 minutes. GW falls to 1-2-0 and will look to earn its first road win of 2025 in its next match on Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
15th Minute: A Rider cross was deflected to the top of the box, where it was trapped and shot by Lovro Kostanjšek into the bottom corner.
83rd Minute: Bobby Lucien doubled the lead when he received a header off a Broncs corner kick, which he volleyed past the outstretched arm of GW's goalkeeper.
89th Minute: Kostanjšek supplied Rider's third goal when he was found open on a cross and faked his shot twice before snapping off the Broncs' third.
