Women’s Soccer Unveils 2025 Schedule

WASHINGTON – Head coach Jeremy Williams and the George Washington women's soccer team have announced their regular season schedule for the 2025 season. The Buff & Blue will compete in two exhibition matches ahead of the season opener on August 14 at American.
Prior to its DC showdown with the Eagles to open the season, GW will host William & Mary on August 3 for an exhibition match at 5:00 p.m. The following week, the Revolutionaries' second and final dress rehearsal will be held on August 9 at Lehigh, also slated for a 5:00 p.m. kickoff.
GW's match against American will open the regular season on August 14 at 1:00 p.m., the first of four away contests before the team finally celebrates its home opener on Sept. 4. The rest of GW's away nonconference matchups include trips to Drexel (August 17), Colgate (August 28) and Binghamton (August 31).
On Sept. 4, GW renews a DMV showdown with Howard for the team's home opener. Kickoff against the Bison is set for 3:00 p.m. at The Vern. This begins a string of four home matches in a two-week stretch for the club, including matchups with Towson (Sept. 7), VMI (Sept. 11) and Loyola (Md.) (Sept. 14).
The 2025 A-10 slate begins on Sept. 20 and will keep GW within the DMV for a meeting with George Mason. Kickoff in Fairfax is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. GW will follow that up with two home conference matches, welcoming Duquesne (Sept. 25) and the reigning A-10 champions, Saint Louis (Sept. 28), to the Mount Vernon Soccer Field.
GW's remaining road matches include trips to Loyola Chicago (Oct. 2), St. Bonaventure (Oct. 5), Richmond (Oct. 19) and Davidson (Oct. 23). The Buff & Blue will also host La Salle (Oct. 11), Rhode Island (Oct. 16) and conclude the regular season with Fordham (Oct. 26).
The 2025 A-10 Championship will be held from Oct. 31 – Nov. 9, with each round being hosted by the match's higher seeded team.
