WASHINGTON - For the first time in program history, the GW lacrosse team is out to an early 3-0 start in 2025, headlined by a recent comeback win over William & Mary on the road. In the comeback victory, junior Grace Curry was a key component for GW, finding the back of the net five times across the 60 minutes, including connecting on the game winning goal scoring opportunity. Curry's performance earned her the A-10 Offensive Player of the Week recognition on Monday afternoon. With three non-conference games remaining on the schedule, GW will look to capitalize on opportunities over Robert Morris, American and Radford before beginning its A-10 slate begins in early March. Through three games, the Revolutionaries are led by Katie Fullowan and Curry in scoring, with the two attackers combining for 20 of the team's 39 goals scored. On defense, Stella Ray, Grace Gordon and Katie Hipp remain consistent, and first-year Gabi Greth has started every game in the cage.
 ON THE ROBERT MORRIS COLONIALS
Robert Morris is off to a 1-2 start on the young season, defeating A-10 member Duquesne 11-10 on the road before falling to both Cincinnati (4-18) and Lafayette (10-12).  The Colonials are led by Courtney Grove, who has been at the helm of the program for two seasons. The team finished the 2024 season 8-12, inclusive of a MAC conference championship, before falling to Maryland in the NCAA Tournament. GW holds a 4-0 all-time series advantage over Robert Morris heading into Saturday's matchup.Â
