WEEK IN REWIND
The Revolutionaries have jumped out to a 2-0 record after an opening weekend in the District, defeating the Howard Bison on the road, 16-7, before handing Kent State a scoreless second half on Sunday and defending GW home turf with a 13-6 victory.Â
Â
First-year Gabi Greth made her collegiate debut in the cage, starting both games. Greth recorded a .647 save percentage on Sunday, shutting out the Golden Flashes in the second half of Sunday's game. Mckenna Jacobs and Mimi Walters also emerged for GW, netting their first career goals on Sunday.Â
Â
Transfers Katie Fullowan and Caroline Sullivan lead the GW offense, as Fullowan has eight goals and an assist, while Sullivan has found the back of the net four times. Other early contributors for the Buff & Blue on offense have been returners Grace Curry, Everly Kesselr, Haley Bolton and Amelia Moran. On defense, the returning group of Stella Ray, Parker Cranz, Pheobe Mullarkey and Katie Hipp has once again proven to be strong.Â
