NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The George Washington University men's soccer team (2-5-0, 0-0-0 A-10) dropped their Tuesday afternoon match at Iona (2-3-2, 0-0-0 MAAC), 4-1. The Revolutionaries fall to 2-5-0 ahead of the beginning of conference play on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
43RD MINUTE: An Iona corner kick late in the half pinballed around the box before ending up on the foot of Iona's Bruno Rivera who gave the Gaels a 1-0 advantage.
70TH MINUTE: A GW turnover in its own defensive end led to Iona's Thiago Cagna doubling the Gaels' lead.
73RD MINUTE: Louis Crofts found the back of the net on a tap-in after receiving a cross sent in from Will Turner in transition. Carter Humm and Turner each earned assists on the play.
80TH MINUTE: Alem Kolenovic pushed Iona's lead back to three on a shot through a GW defender's legs.
87TH MINUTE: A strong build-up of play in the closing minutes resulted in the Gaels' fourth goal from the feet of Alvaro Maneiro.
