
Diving Competes at West Virginia Invitational

WASHINGTON - The George Washington men's and women's diving teams are heading to Morgantown, W.Va., this week to compete in the West Virginia Diving Invitational. Hosted at The Aquatic Center at Mylan Park, the invitational spans from Thursday-Saturday, and results from the meet can be found on divemeets.com.
REACHING NEW HEIGHTS
In the GW women's dual-meet victory over Pittsburgh, sophomore diver Olivia Paquette broke the GW program record in the 3m dive with a 315.83. The previous record, which Paquette set last year, was a 309.00. Paquette, a native of Laguna Niguel, Calif., owns two of GW's three diving records - the 3m (315.87) and the platform (214.15).
THE COMPETITION
The Revolutionaries will compete as part of a 14-team field, which includes: Delaware, Duquesne, Drexel, East Carolina, GW, JMU, La Salle, Navy, Northern Iowa, Penn State, Seton Hall, West Virginia, Villanova and Youngstown State.Â
