Ryan Fowkes, Michael Bohlke, Yukino Parle and Sarah Mitchell were the standouts of a dynamic GW cross country display at the A-10 Championships, with each earning All-Conference honors.
Fowkes led all GW runners on Saturday, placing sixth in the men's five-mile and establishing a new GW record in the event with a time of 24:11.6.
Meanwhile, Parle put together an historic run in the women's 5K, crossing the finish line in a time of 17:12.9. The graduate student's mark was the second-fastest 5K time in GW history and was also a personal best.
Finally, both first-years shined in their respective races. In her event debut in the 5K, Mitchell logged a time of 17:40.9, the seventh-fastest 5K time in GW history, while Bohlke set a new personal record in the five-mile, finishing in 24:37.7.
