When GW men's basketball takes the floor together again, there will be familiar faces in key places, headlined by returning senior Maceo Jack, the sophomore trio of Jamison Battle, Jameer Nelson Jr. and Chase Paar, and local product Amir Harris. Battle, Jack and Nelson Jr. all bring double-digit scoring averages from last season back to GW.
As notable are the fresh faces that will don the Buff and Blue for the first time. A powerful trio of transfers from the autonomous five conferences have joined the Colonials: grad student Matt Moyer from Vanderbilt by way of Syracuse, DC's own Ricky Lindo Jr. from Maryland, and Baltimore-product James Bishop via LSU.
The three latest transfers are joined by a heralded class of all-DMV first-years in Lincoln Ball, Tyler Brelsford and Noel Brown.
2019-20 sit-out transfers Sloan Seymour and Hunter Dean will debut for GDUB this season, as will grad student Brandon Leftwich, who formerly ran the point for Head Coach Jamion Christian at Mount St. Mary's.
