Indoor Track Opens Season at Terrapin Invitational

Colonials kick off new year with first of five events
WASHINGTON - GW indoor track & field begins its campaign this Saturday at the Terrapin Invitational, hosted by Maryland at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, Md. Field events begin at 10 a.m. with track events starting at 10:30 a.m.
The Colonials are coming off a successful cross country season highlighted by the women's team finishing second at the Atlantic 10 Championship, the highest mark in program history. Senior Suzanne Dannheim, scheduled to make her indoor season debut on Saturday, earned All-Conference and All-Region honors, ultimately representing the Buff & Blue at the national meet.
GW will have a full squad at the season-opening event on Saturday with the schedule as follows:
