Housey Wins 1500m to Highlight Track's Weekend

Colonials post five top-10 finishes at Morgan State

GW outdoor track & field continued its season with a solid day at both the Morgan State Legacy and the Virginia Challenge on Saturday afternoon.

BALTIMORE, Md. - The majority of the Colonials competed at Morgan State and were headlined by Paul Housey's win in the men's 1500m in a time of 4:04.67. Isaiah Robyne gave GW two top-5 finishers, placing fourth in 4:06.47.

Jon Dooling led the way in the 800m, finishing tops among three Colonials and sixth overall in 1:59.83. Jared Nelson placed seventh in the triple jump at 12.58m.

Madison Yerke registered the top finish for the women's team, finishing third in the 1500m with a time of 4:38.85. In the 800m, both Mariah Moro and Rachel Gallivan set new PRs.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Following her school record last weekend, Suzanne Dannheim posted the second fastest time of her career in the 3000m Steeplechase, finishing 11th in a competitive field at the Virginia Challenge.

Carter Day competed in the men's 3000m Steeplechase, but did not finish.
