Colonials to face field of 15 teams
Schedule | Results
OFF TO THE STARTING BLOCKS: The George Washington women's rowing team will hit the road to compete in the Cherry Hill Invitational on Saturday on the Cooper River. The Colonials will face a field of 15 teams, including three squads hailing from the Atlantic 10.
The Cherry Hill Invitational will feature heat style racing, with the winners of each heat and the teams with the next four fastest times earning a spot in the grand final. The next six fastest times will race in the petite final while the remaining squads will proceed in the third level final.
RETURNING COMPETITORS: While this is GW's first time racing at this event, Lehigh, Fordham, Georgetown and Jacksonville are all returning teams who placed top three in their respective petite and third level finals last year.
