Indoor Track Wraps Regular Season at Princeton Invitational

Dannheim and Weber lead the way with second-place finishes

PRINCETON, N.J. - GW indoor track finished off its regular season campaign with a select group going through their final tune-up before the Atlantic 10 Championship next weekend at George Mason.

The six student-athletes who did compete at the Princeton Invitational made the most of the opportunity, all finishing in the top five of their respective event. Senior Andrew Weber started the day strong with a runner-up finish in the men's mile in a season-best 4:28.24.

On the women's side, junior Suzanne Dannheim followed suit with a second place showing in the women's mile in a season-best 5:04.34. Senior Halley Brown cut four seconds off her previous season-high, finishing fourth in a time of 5:09.19. Sophomore Margaret Coogan grabbed fifth with a PR time of 5:13.35.

Sophomore Brittany Wilkinson crossed third in the women's 800m in 2:20.62, more than three seconds better than her previous best at the distance.

UP NEXT: GW will compete in the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships next Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23-24. The meet will be hosted by George Mason in Fairfax, Va.
