Senior earned second individual win of the year Saturday
WASHINGTON - Senior Suzanne Dannheim of the GW women's cross country team was named the A-10 Women's Performer of the Week on Tuesday, the league announced.
Dannheim topped the 207-member field at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, finishing in a time of 21:09.2. The mark is the fifth-fastest 6k time in program history and helped lead the Buff & Blue to a second-place team finish.
This is the second individual accolade this fall for Dannheim, who previously earned the honor in September following her first career individual win at the Mason Invitational. She and the Colonials will return to the Oatlands Plantation course next Saturday, Nov. 2, for the A-10 Championship.
