FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Washington men's indoor track team concluded its season on Sunday at the final day of the Atlantic 10 Championships at George Mason Field House.
Two Colonials set new personal records in the finale of the indoor schedule.
Junior Ryan DePinto was GW's top performer in the mile, narrowly missing out on All-Conference honors, placing ninth overall with a time of 4:16.35. Freshman Colin Wills new a new personal record in 4:18.34 to claim 12th place while junior Chris Shaffer finished in 4:26.11 (18th).
In the 3000m, junior Carter Day finished one place shy of All-Conference by taking ninth place in 8:37.16. Junior Charles Arnold followed closely in 11th place in a new personal-best time of 8:41.03. Senior Jordan Pantalone (19th, 9:00.30) rounded out GW's competitors.
The Colonials now turn their attention to the Outdoor Track season, which opens on March 24 at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, North Carolina.
