GW Athletics to Participate in Giving Tuesday

Alumni, families and friends of GW athletics are encouraged to make gifts to the Buff & Blue Fund, which supports student-athlete needs throughout the department, or can support one of the program's 27 varsity teams.
"GW Athletics was a campus leader last #GivingTuesday, and we are grateful for our donors' support," Assistant Athletics Director for Development Nicole Fratianne said. "We love #GivingTuesday because so many Colonials alumni, families and fans invest proudly in our 520 student-athletes each year."
#GivingTuesday was founded as a response to the growth of post-Thanksgiving sales traditions like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, in the hopes of encouraging people to consider making an impact on their communities and causes during the holiday season.
GW Athletics social media properties will showcase the ways the Buff & Blue Fund supports the student-athlete experience, and loyal GW donors are encouraged to share the Colonials #GivingTuesday message with their networks.
