GW Basketball Media Day Set for Tuesday, Oct. 27

WASHINGTON -- GW men's and women's basketball will preview their upcoming seasons when they host Media Day at the Charles E. Smith Center on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Fans are encouraged to watch and interact with the free, live streamed RaiseHigh.tv show via social media.
By tagging Twitter posts with #GWMediaDay, fans could hear their questions asked during Coach Jonathan Tsipis (@GWCoachTsip) and Coach Mike Lonergan's (@MikeLonergan) media sessions from 1:30-2:20.
Several Colonials will also sit down with GWsports.com's Dan DiVeglio between 2:20 and 3 p.m., and fans can pose questions to them with #GWMediaDay.
The schedule of events streaming live on RaiseHigh.tv for GW Basketball Media Day is as follows:
1:30 - 2 p.m. - Women's basketball head coach Jonathan Tsipis at the podium with selected student-athletes
2 - 2:20 p.m. - Men's basketball head coach Mike Lonergan at the podium
2:25 - 2:45 - Student-athlete interviews including Jonquel Jones, Joe McDonald, Kevin Larsen and Tyler Cavanaugh
