Vincent Cagliostro has been named Director of Strength & Conditioning and Andy Priddy has come aboard at George Washington as Director of Equipment, bolstering the leadership and support for GW's student-athletes.
Cagliostro comes to George Washington from Stony Brook University, where he held the title of Director of Athletic Performance & Director of Sport Science. As the leading expert in return-to-play protocols for student-athletes coming back from injury or surgery, Cagliostro's understanding of sport science and physical preparation to train and compete allowed for progressively responsible experience in his tenure on Long Island. He's also served stints at Rutgers and with the NFL's Chicago Bears, yielding an array of opportunities to hone his craft for the betterment of athletic performance in all.
Priddy was most recently at Georgetown in the role of Associate Director of Equipment Operations, where he managed gear for every Division I sport and served as the overseer of uniform design with multiple apparel providers. A two-time alumnus of TCU and master's recipient from Georgetown, Priddy's experience in budgeting, vendor relations and leadership will be a boon to GW's 20 teams and 400+ student-athletes.Â
