WASHINGTON, DC - Elizabeth Austin was named the women's rowing team MVP at George Washington University's annual Senior Honors Luncheon on the GW campus Monday.
Elizabeth's determination and work ethic during her senior season have earned her the Women's Rowing MVP. A native of Madison, WI, she has been a member of the Colonials varsity eight since her sophomore year.
In 2007, she was named a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete in recognition of her achievements in the classroom and this season she was named First Team All-Conference during the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship.
