BOSTON, MA - The George Washington Men's Rowing team returned to action Sunday at the Head of the Charles and placed 20th out of 39 teams competing in the race. The conditions in Boston, MA were very difficult with heavy snow and lots of wind. The Colonials did well though against some top quality competition and also finished 12th out of the colleges that were competing.
The Colonials finished with a time of 15:29, which was 44 seconds off the pace off of California who finished 2nd overall and posted the best time of all the college boats in the race.
George Washington will return to action next weekend when they participate in the Princeton Chase in Princeton, NJ. The race is set to take place on Sunday, October 25th.
