
Men's Rowing Wins Occoquan Chase

WOODBRIDGE, VA - The George Washington Men's Rowing team returned to action on Sunday, October 11th and finished first in the Occoquan Chase in Woodbridge, VA. The Colonials finished with a time of 14:59 in the Open Eight event to win it and their "B" boat finished third overall as well. There were 14 total boats in the Varsity race.
The Colonials also competed in the Men's Novice race and were able to take first and second place with times of 16:21 and 16:33 by their two boats. Third place was the University of North Carolina boat, which was 39 seconds behind the second George Washington boat.
The George Washington men's crew team will return to action Sunday, October 18th when they head to the Head of the Charles race.
