Mark Bearden Named Strength Coach for GW Basketball

WASHINGTON, DC - Mark Bearden has been named strength and conditioning coach for the George Washington University's men's and women's basketball programs, Director of Athletics Jack Kvancz has announced.
Bearden comes to GW after serving as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK, for the past four years.
A 1997 graduate of Oklahoma State, Bearden worked with the Cowboys' football, softball, women's basketball, women's soccer as well as the nationally ranked men's and women's golf programs.
The Mustang, OK, native is a member of the Collegiate Strength Conditioning Coaches of Association (CSCCA), United States Weightlifting (USAW) and the Amateur American Powerlifting Federation (AAPF).
