The GW athletes who participated in the program were Renee Arnold (volleyball); Jason Holloway (men's soccer); and Wes Teter (men's swimming). The athletes discussed the specifics of their particular sport with the message to inspire youth to stay in school, make the most of their educational opportunities, and use athletics as a tool to engender discipline and enhance academic performance. They spoke to an assembly of approximately 200 students in grades 6-8.
