Law, a 5-10 outside hitter from Denver, CO, and four-year starter at Mullen High, earned MVP honors as a senior in 2000. Law also played for the USA Junior National Raquetball team. She maintains a 4.14 grade-point average and ranks among the top five percent in her class.
"Molly will make an immediate impact," said Coronel. "She is an excellent ball control player and has all the tools to be successful as an attacker. Most importantly, Molly is a fighter. She loves to compete and excel in everything she does."
Stroman, a 6-2 middle hitter from Edina, MN, was her team's MVP and was rated as one of the top six players in the state of Minnesota. She plays for one of the top club teams in Minnesota (Mizuno 1).
"Britta has great mobility and ball control for her position," Coronel added. "She possesses a lightning-fast arm swing and hits a heavy ball.' It's clear that she wants to succeed at the next level both athletically and academically."
The newcomers will have an opportunity to see playing time immediately as the defending Atlantic 10 champion Colonials (25-6, 14-2 A-10), graduate six seniors, including five starters, from last year's NCAA Tournament team.
