2018-19: Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference....Collected three medals, including an individual gold, at the A-10 Championships to help GW finish runner-up in the team standings...Broke the A-10 record in the 200 fly during prelims by touching in 1:58.37 before coming back and taking gold in the finals in 1:59.13...Took fourth in the 200 IM with a career-best time of 2:01.44...Secured silver in the 400 IM with a career-best and NCAA B-cut time of 4:16.57...Earned bronze as part of GW's 800 free relay (7:20.18)...Also competed with GW's fourth-place 400 medley relay squad (3:44.83)...Continued season at CSCAA National Invitational Championship, where she broke her own program record in the 200 breast...Finished the B final of the 200 breast in 2:16.99 to take 14th and break her own program mark...Qualified for the A final of the 200 IM and took 10th in 2:04.92...Part of GW's 10th-place finish in the 400 medley relay (3:44.57) and 11th-place showing in the 800 free relay (7:28.92)...Recognized on the Spring 2019 GW Athletics Academics Dean's List...Named to A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2017-18: Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference...Earned three medals, including a gold, at the Atlantic 10 Championships to help the Colonials finish third in the team standings...Swam third leg in GW's A-10 and program record-breaking swim (7:15.43) in the 800 free relay to earn gold...Won individual silver in the 400 IM with an NCAA B-cut time of 4:17.88...Also took silver in the 200 fly in a GW record time of 2:00.34...Part of GW's program record-breaking group in the 200 medley relay (1:42.73) to finish seventh...Finished fifth in the 200 breast in 2:18.64....Closed season at CSCAA National Invitational Championship, highlighted by a bronze medal in the 800 free relay (7:18.98)...Individually, Torrez finished sixth in the 200 IM (career-best 2:02.20) and eighth in the 400 IM (4:21.78) and qualified for the B final of the 200 fly (2:03.25)....In addition, posted career-best time in the 200 free (1:57.08) in the dual meet at American on Jan. 13 and two more career bests at the Magnus Cup Invitational in November in the 50 breast (:30.94) and 100 IM (1:00.57).
2016-17: Named A-10 Rookie of the Week on Oct. 11, Nov. 22 and Jan. 17...Posted five top-10 finishes at the Magnus Cup Invitational (Nov. 18-20)...Took fourth in the 400 IM in a school-record 4:19.57 at the Atlantic 10 Championships...Placed fourth in the 200 butterfly, setting a new school record in 2:01.23 at the A-10 Championships...Won the B final to finish ninth overall in the 200 breaststroke, setting a school record in 2:17.09...Swam the second leg of GW's school record-setting 400 medley relay, helping post a time of 3:48.22 at the Atlantic 10 Championships to finish ninth.
