As a Sophomore in 2002-03
Appeared in three games last season, providing depth off the bench. Made her first two free throw attempts as a collegiate player against Fairfield (1-4-03). Grabbed one rebound in one minute of play in GW[apos]s second round game in the 2003 NCAA Tournament.
As a Freshman in 2001-02
Redshirted the 2001-02 season recovering from an ACL tear suffered late in her senior season at Elsik High School.

Prior to tearing her ACL in January 2001, Harris averaged 21 ppg and 9 rpg... Nike All-American... Street & Smith All-America Sixth Team... TABC 5A All-State First Team... All-Metro First Team... District MVP... All-District First Team.
Personal
Daughter of Thelma Jean Battiste. Has two younger brothers, Julius (18) and Justin (16). Enjoys going to the movies with her friends. Aspires to play in the WNBA and enter into sports broadcasting.
