Originally from Vista, CA, her family moved to Powhatan, VA once she verbally committed to attend GW ... played varsity volleyball at three different high schools in four years (Vista H.S. as a freshman and sophomore; Rancho Buena Vista H.S. as a junior in California and Powhatan H.S. as a senior in Virginia) ... an outstanding outside hitter player with a world-class armswing, she was named team MVP and honorable mention All-State in leading Powhatan to the District Championship as a senior under coach Deb Menger.
