Haig Simon Hengen ... Born Aug. 6, 1995 in Providence, R.I. ... Son of Anais Missakian and Mark Hengen ... Father was on the fencing team at Michigan State ... Has two younger brothers, Vartan and Aram ... Is one of six players on his USSDA Oakwood 17[apos]s club team to commit to a Division I school for the 2013 season ... Intends to major in international affairs or international economics. Coach Jones[apos] Take: 'Haig first came to our attention after attending our summer ID program and showed he has the commitment and energy on the field to push for a starting position and push other players around him. He is a defender who reads the game well and has the physical edge that will be needed in the fall for him to be successful. His comfort on the ball could give us another option in midfield, which adds depth to the team and further competition for places.'
