Bio
High School/Club: In Trofym[apos]s junior year while attending E.L. Crossley Secondary School he assisted the Cyclones to winning the prestigious Stotesbury Cup Regatta in the Men[apos]s Eight (8+) - the first Canadian crew to do so since 1972. They went on that year to claim gold in that same event along with the Senior Quad (4x) at the Canadian Secondary School Rowing Championships (CSSRA). In his senior year he won gold again in the Senior Quad (4x) both at the Stotesbury Cup and CSSRA. During the 2009 summer season, Trofym was a part of the Canadian Junior Development Team, CanAmMex. That summer his crew won the Senior Men[apos]s Quad (4x) at US Club Nationals. Trofym also won the Junior Men[apos]s Quad (4x) at the prestigious Canadian Henley in 2009. Following his senior year he went on to race for Canada with the Junior National Team at the 2010 World Rowing Junior Championships in Racice, Czech Republic where he helped Canada win the B Final of the Men[apos]s Eight (8+).
Under-23/Club: Since joining the Colonials in 2010, Trofym still travels home to Canada in the summer[apos]s where he is now a member of Ridley Graduate Boat Club. In 2012 Trofym and his crew won the Senior Quad (4x) at Canadian Henley. In 2013, following a successful collegiate season at IRA[apos]s, Trofym was selected to Canada[apos]s Under-23 National Team. Racing in the Men[apos]s Coxed Four (4+), his crew finished 5th in the world at the 2013 World Rowing Under-23 Championships in Linz, Austria.
Personal: Born Trofym Anderson on July, 3rd, 1992 to parents Robert and Belinda Anderson. Trofym is enrolled in GW School of Business and concentrates in Sports Management and International Business with dreams of not only competing at the Olympic level but to one day work with the International Olympic Committee.
