AJ Carr joined the GW men's basketball staff in 2022 as a graduate assistant. Carr comes to GW after a stint in skill development, where he assisted in the training of NBA players Svi Mykhailiuk and Justin Robinson in addition to numerous, WNBA, NCAA and High School players.
Carr was a two-time All-Conference performer at Division II Shepherd University, becoming one of only three players in program history to finish among Shepherd's top 20 all-time in points (16th), rebounds (7th) and assists (19th). He played professionally for the Reading Rockets in the United Kingdom for two seasons.
