Rules for Prospective Student-Athletes
As a prospective student-athlete (prospect) you have the potential to become a GW Revolutionary. Naturally, the University and Athletics Department would like for all of the prospects to be eligible to become a GW Rev. In order for you to be eligible to compete at GW, the NCAA has specific guidelines that must be followed. This website has been set up to help educate prospects about what they need to do and what they need to refrain from doing before they can be eligible to compete for GW. Please note that the scope and complexity of NCAA legislation precludes complete coverage on this website. We suggest, therefore, that you forward additional questions to the Athletics Compliance Office at 202.994.6282 or cbwirth@gw.edu or Athletics Director at 202.994.6650 or go directly to the website links at the bottom of this page.
