Men’s Soccer Visits Delaware Tuesday, Loyola Chicago Saturday; Looks to Hand Both First Home Losses of 2026

GW men's soccer will look to continue its road success with two matches away from home this week. The Revolutionaries will go up against Delaware on Tuesday night at 6 p.m., before making the trip to Chicago to face the Ramblers on Saturday night at 8 p.m. (ET). Tuesday's match will be available to stream on Summit League Network, while Saturday's conference match will be streamed on ESPN+.
GW is looking to rebound from its 3-2 A10-opening loss on Saturday vs. La Salle, starting with its penultimate non-conference match at Delaware. GW has won all four matches away from home this season by a cumulative score of 11-2.
Despite not scoring vs. La Salle, Jaden Dubon continues to rank highly in the NCAA in multiple categories, including sixth in total assists (seven assists), eighth in assists per game (0.71 APG), 15th in points per game (1.86 PPG) and 16th in total points (13 points).
Delaware enters Tuesday's matchup with a 4-2-3 record, which includes an unbeaten 3-0-1 mark at home. The Blue Hens are unbeaten in their last four matches (2-0-2) and are coming off a 3-2 home win vs. LIU on Friday night. Delaware has two players that have already reached double-digit points: Freddy Jerreys with three goals and five assists, and Frederik Flaskager with four goals and two assists. Eric Widrick protects the Delaware goal and is sporting a 1.33 goals allowed average with a 0.733 save percentage. GW trails the all-time series vs. Delaware, 1-3-2, tying their most recent meeting, 1-1, at the GW Soccer Field in 2025.
Loyola Chicago has started the year at 5-2-2 and are also unbeaten at home at 2-0-2. The Ramblers fell in its A10 opener over the weekend at Fordham, 2-0. Luka Ivancic leads the Ramblers' attack with three goals and three assists, while Ionita Maxwell has had the bulk of work in net with a 1.00 goals allowed average and .810 save percentage. The Revolutionaries are looking for their first-ever win against Loyola Chicago, as GW has lost all three meetings vs. the A10's most-recent addition.
