Head Coach Ganiyat Adeduntan and the George Washington women's basketball program have announced an exhibition contest with Towson slated for Oct. 18 inside the Charles E. Smith Center. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m., with tickets available now.
For the first time in program history, GW women's basketball will host an open-to-the-public preseason game, giving fans an early peek at the 2026-27 Revolutionaries squad, which is coming off an historic run to the WNIT Great Eight last March.
The exhibition contest will close out an action-packed three-day stretch as part of GW's Alumni & Families Weekend. Included in the festivities are a men's basketball exhibition against Georgetown on Friday, as well as a comedy show on Saturday, all of which will be hosted inside the Smith Center.
The Buff & Blue return five players from last year's squad, including Gabby Reynolds, who enters the year as one of the A-10's premier players. The junior guard was an all-conference third team selection a year ago and finished ninth in the league in scoring at 14.6 ppg. Sara Lewis, Kamari Sims, Tanah Becker and Jaeda Wilson all return for GW as well.
GW's roster also consists of eight newcomers, including five transfers and three first-years. The transfer group brings a combined 293 games of collegiate experience to GW and has scored 1,985 career points.
2026-27 Season Tickets for GW women's basketball are on sale now, starting as low as $70. The Revolutionaries are coming off the deepest WNIT run in program history and tallied the most postseason wins in a single year in 29 seasons.
