Diving Sends Five to NCAA Zone A

Five GW divers are heading to NCAA Diving Zone A early next week, hosted by Navy at Lejeune Hall in Annapolis, Md. GW's divers will participate in the regional meet on Monday and Tuesday, looking to join GW swimmers Ava Topolewski and Holden Thomas at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships in Atlanta later this month.

Women's 1-Meter | 10:30 a.m. prelim (A) | 3:45 p.m. prelim (B) | 6:45 p.m. finals
Men's 3-Meter | 12:00 p.m. prelims | 3:30 p.m. finals
GW'S ZONE A PARTICIPANTS
Ben Bradley: 3-meter dive
Jadin Brown: 1-meter dive
Olivia Paquette: 1- & 3-meter dives
Holden Wheeler: 3-meter dive
Michael Wood: 1- & 3-meter dives
QUALIFYING FROM ZONE A
To qualify for the NCAA Championships from Zone A, women's divers must finish in the top six in the 1-meter dive or in the top five in the 3-meter dive. For men's divers in Zone A, they must finish in the top four in the 1-meter dive or in the top five in the 3-meter dive to qualify for NCAAs.
GW's divers are looking to qualify for the NCAA meet for the first time since 2005, when former GW diver and Olympian Katura Horton-Perenchief qualified and competed at NCAAs.
